- a river holds a perfect memory
- live from the british library
in lieu of a performance recording from a show at Cafe Oto {02/09/24} i've made a few collages from the research and rehearsal sessions, composing and improvising for three custom acoustic amplifiers.
the synthesiser is connected to transistors attached to two foam boards, one covered with a shekere net and the other is fitted with tambourine cymbals, the sound from the synth causes the net and cymbals to shake. guitar is amplified through an aluminum sheet.
the pieces sit somewhere between live performance and sample based, a kind of scrapbook of the research time. all sounds are from the sessions, recorded on either a zoom or my phone.
